Pasta alla Norma Sauce Sicilian tomato & aubergine sauce
A ready-to-use version of Sicily's most famous pasta sauce, named after Bellini's opera Norma — a dish born in Catania and beloved across the island. Made with chunky Italian tomato pulp, tender aubergines, fresh basil, garlic, and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, all slow-cooked to bring out the natural sweetness of southern Italian produce.
Simply warm through and toss with freshly cooked pasta — traditionally rigatoni or maccheroni — finish with a generous grating of ricotta salata or Pecorino, and a few torn basil leaves. A complete Sicilian supper in under ten minutes.
